Maximum Data Room Size
To ensure a stable and swift system performance and a good user experience, our data rooms are limited to a maximum number of 30.000 index points (Root Folder + Email Inbox + Trash Bin).
- We inform users in the UI, and Admins via notification emails, when 95% and when 100% of the limit have been reached.
- When the limit is reached, we pause operations that would exceed the limit, such as Upload, Create, Data Transfer, Index Import, Redaction, and Auto Allocation, and we indicate with warnings in the UI why the operation could not be completed.
In case your data room is going to reach the limit, please review and restructure your data room to reduce the number of index points by:
- Deleting unnecessary index points such as empty folders and unused document index points
- Using the duplicate detection tool to delete duplicates and reducing redundant embedding of document duplicates in multiple folders
- Emptying the trash
- Splitting up a large data room into several small ones, if applicable
- Contacting Customer Success for help in optimising the structure
