Chinese UI
Chinese investors are frequently invited to view or collaborate in a data room. By adding Simplified Chinese to our UI, our platform becomes more accessible to all parties involved in cross-border transactions.
Free preparation time improvements
Free Preparation Time now makes it easier to go live when you’re ready. Admins can schedule the preparation time and move the data room live themselves through a simple self-service flow. Clear information about available features and preparation limits, together with timely notifications, helps teams manage the transition smoothly.
Drooms Mobile App Update
The Drooms Mobile App has been updated with new capabilities that give deal teams even greater flexibility on the go. Users can now manage Q&A and user access directly from their mobile device, alongside existing features including access to documents, AI Assistant, Chat, notifications and translations.
Drooms Intelligence
Drooms Intelligence brings AI-powered intelligence directly into the Drooms platform, helping deal teams work faster and make better-informed decisions from the data already stored in their data room. Built for sensitive transaction data, it enables teams to analyse documents, uncover key information and turn complex data into actionable insights – all securely within Drooms.
The launch brings together two core capabilities:

- Tabular Review Transform documents into shareable reports. AI extracts key information from lease agreements, Energy Performance Certificates and other document types. Compare assets, collaborate on reports and export clean, shareable reports on demand.

Search Update
Search by title is now the default – helping you land on the right document straight away, without additional noise. Like an arrow hitting the bullseye, your search is now sharper and more precise. And when you need to go deeper, switching modes takes just one click.
A new search mode selector sits right inside the search bar. Two options, one click:
- Search by title (default) surfaces documents by name, exactly how most users search.
- Search by title and content the full deep-scan across every page of every document, available whenever you need it.
Fast lookups stay fast. Deep discovery stays powerful.
Company Account
One place to manage your Drooms projects. Oversee all projects, subscriptions, billing, and company-level administration through a single company account.
What changed:
- Upgrade, downgrade, or switch the billing cycle

and manage invoices directly from one central

What changed:
- Updated interface and models offer a cleaner experience that’s quick to learn, backed by a reasoning engine that stays current with AI market advances.
- Numerical & Text Analysis now extracts financial metrics and delivers structured tables, helping teams perform AI-assisted document analysis and validate key information during due diligence.
- 190+ language support lets deal teams chat and receive findings in their native language, with contextual reasoning that understands meaning — not just keywords.
Document Processing Visibility
You can now see at a glance whether your documents are fully ready to use — no more guessing why a feature like batch redaction or full-text search isn’t responding yet.
What changed:
- File level displays a clear status indicator — Processing, Processed, or Not Processable — so you always know what’s available to work with.
- Data room & folder level shows an overview of which files have been processed and which are still being prepared.
Chat Improvements
Starting a new conversation in Drooms Chat is now faster and more intuitive, and Administrators have better visibility when handling permission requests.
What changed:
- Permission request management now opens the notifications panel directly from email links, with clearer context on the status of each request.
- Starting new chats no longer requires creating a contact first — simply enter a full email address and send your message. The contact is created automatically in the background.
- File sharing and group chats follow the same simplified flow when adding recipients.

Our powerful desktop AI Assistant is now available in the Drooms mobile app! Access all your AI conversations seamlessly across devices. Every chat automatically syncs between desktop and mobile, so you can continue your work from anywhere.

Chat Update
Chat is now available in full page mode, making it more comfortable for longer, more detailed discussions. Access the Chat from the navigation bar, contacts page, or by expanding a conversation – all familiar functionalities remain at your fingertips.
Project group chats have also arrived. Group chats are created and managed automatically for each user group within your data room, with membership updates are reflected instantly to ensure seamless collaboration and less manual admin effort.
Duplicate Detection
You can now find documents with identical content, even if their names are different. Use the new filter to spot and manage duplicates quickly, reduce confusion, and streamline reviews.
Duplicate Detection helps teams maintain cleaner data rooms, reducing review time and improving efficiency throughout the due diligence process.
Mobile app updates
Quickly generate and share links directly from your documents within the mobile app, making collaboration on the go even easier. And to keep group chats organised and secure, we’ve introduced a new Chat Moderator role that allows designated users to manage group membership.

New Navigation
The data room navigation has been redesigned for a cleaner, simpler experience. Project-related options now appear at the top of the page for faster, more intuitive access, and general account navigation is more logically arranged to help you find key features with ease.
What changed:
- General account navigation will be rearranged for a more logical layout, giving you quicker access to key sections like Projects, Help, and Account Settings.
- Project-related navigation will move from the left side to the top of the page, right under the navigation bar, making it easier to switch between different parts of your project or data room.
- The top bar will include direct access to Chat, Notifications, and Downloads, so you can see updates at a glance.
Mobile App Update
You can now manage permissions directly from your mobile device. View and edit settings for multiple user groups in one screen, wherever you are. Plus, stay on top of your messages with new unread message badges on the mobile app home screen.
