Frankfurt am Main, 25 August 2026 — Instead of searching through thousands of documents one by one, deal teams can now ask their data room questions directly. European due diligence and transaction platform provider Drooms is expanding its offering with Drooms Intelligence. The new platform product analyses the entire document set using natural language and delivers structured answers with direct links to the relevant sources – entirely within Drooms’ digitally sovereign infrastructure, without confidential documents having to leave the secure environment.
European AI without compromise
With Drooms Intelligence, Drooms addresses the reality transaction teams face today: they are already using AI, but often rely on external applications that require an additional and potentially risky detour. Documents have to leave the protected data room environment before the analysis can begin, creating additional risks around confidentiality, compliance and governance.
Drooms Intelligence removes this trade-off. The product is integrated directly into the Drooms platform. Document content is not transferred to external AI services, and users do not need to download files or upload them into separate applications. Existing access and permission structures remain fully intact, while every answer is directly linked to the relevant source documents.

From searching to direct answers
In due diligence projects involving several thousand documents, even getting an initial overview can take considerable time. Drooms Intelligence treats the data room as a connected body of information: users can ask about termination rights and contract terms, identify potential risks, compare financial information or check whether important documents are missing. Review and reporting tasks that previously took days can therefore, in some cases, be completed in minutes.
At launch, Drooms Intelligence includes two capabilities. The AI Assistant enables conversational analysis across the entire data room – from questions about contractual clauses, figures and tables to initial data room reviews and red-flag analyses. It also makes it easier for new team members joining an ongoing process to get up to speed quickly. Every answer can be traced back to its source at any time.
Tabular Review goes one step further: recurring information from lease agreements and energy performance certificates is automatically extracted and brought together in a structured format for portfolio, reporting and compliance tasks beyond individual transactions. Teams can work on the results collaboratively within the data room, share them and download them without leaving the secure environment.
