Data privacy
Our overall system set-up and the data processing and storage in Germany and Switzerland are GDPR-compliant. Your data is securely processed and stored within our server infrastructure (for Germany: located in our data center; for Switzerland: hosted via AWS). All data remains within this infrastructure unless accessed or downloaded by you or users you invite to the platform.

System stability
We have a system availability of 99.9% per year. Both internal and external security audits and penetration tests are regularly conducted.

All data transfers at Drooms are carried out exclusively via SSL-secured connections and encrypted with AES 256-bit to ensure maximum security. We are also ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27018:2020 certified and committed to continuously improving security and meeting all necessary regulations.

General Data Protection Regulation

The data protection regulation is an EU regulation with the aim to protect personal data
It came into effect in May 2018 and replaced the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC as well as all regulations of single EU countries.
The GDPR applies to all companies based in the EU, but also to companies based outside the EU, if they have a branch in the EU or process personal data of EU residents.
Personal data is any information leading to a person's identification e.g. name, email address, ID number, location data, income and bank details, health information and IP address.
