Using the AI Assistant
Drooms Intelligence is the umbrella term for the AI features and tools, which Drooms provides analysing documents, part of which is the AI Assistant. It is a chatbot specially trained by Drooms for retrieving all kind of information documents present in a data room may contain.
The AI Assistant allows to enter any kind of query about documents, answers and summarises them, highlights risks, explains complex terms while overcoming language barriers by responding in the user’s language, regardless of the document’s language.
There are two options to use the AI Assistant:
- ‘Chat with the whole data room’: Start the AI Assistant directly, then select a project to search for desired information across all documents
- ‘Chat with selected documents’: Multi-select up to 20 specific documents in a data room for a detailed analysis, then start the Ai Assistant from within the data room
To start a ‘chat with a whole data room’, proceed as follows:
- Start Drooms and sign in, then select the AI Assistant in the vertical main navigation menu on the left to open the AI Assistant page.
- Alternatively, if you have already selected a project and are in the Documents section, you can also start the AI Assistant from the top tool bar selecting the drop-down menu option ‘Chat with the whole data room’. which will redirect you to the AI Assistant page.
- On the AI Assistant page select the project, which the AI Assistant should be applied to, if it is not already selected.
- Enter your prompt or select one of the already provided pre-formulated queries to start a new chat with the AI Assistant.
- Depending on the complexity of your query and the overall number of documents in the data room the AI Assistant will start to answer your query instantly, but may take a few seconds to finish. The AI Assistant will always reference its responses to correspondingly highlighted text findings, and link to each in the chat response for detail review.
To start a ‘chat with selected documents’, proceed as follows:
- Start Drooms and sign in, then select the project and data room with the document(s) that you want to retrieve information and data from.
- Multi-select in the index on the left one or more documents (up to 20) and either:
- open the index context menu with a right click and select the option ‘Chat with selected documents’, or
- click the ‘AI Assistant’ button in the top tool bar to open the right hand AI Assistant panel, or
- open the right hand AI Assistant panel directly with a click on the AI Assistant icon on the right.
- Alternatively, you may start a chat with the AI Assistant as mentioned above first and then select the documents of interest.
- Type in your query in the bottom message entry field and confirm it via Enter or the Send button.
- Depending on the complexity of your query and the overall size of the selected document(s), the AI Assistant will start to answer your query instantly, but may take a few seconds to finish. The AI Assistant will always reference its responses to correspondingly highlighted text findings in the selected document(s), and link to each in the chat response for detail review.
Please note furthermore:
- Newly uploaded documents must be first successfully processed by Drooms, before the AI Assistant can look into them.
- Your queries, respectively chats are stored in the AI Assistant panel with AI-generated titles based on query history (click on the top left back arrow)
and can be copied and shared via the Drooms Chat or other platforms. - Documents you have already queried the AI Assistant about are indicated correspondingly in the index, allowing you to access the respective chat directly.
- Multi-document chats display the number of included documents.
- New documents cannot be added to existing chats. To include them, select the old and the new ones (up to 20) and start a new chat and query.
- You can upvote or downvote responses, providing feedback for AI improvement.
- You can delete chats and will soon have the ability to also rename them.
