TRIUVA (formerly IVG Institutional Funds GmbH) has sold one of the most famous skyscrapers in Frankfurt to a consortium led by Korean Samsung SRA Asset Management. Hines acted as the investment manager for Samsung and will handle the asset management in the long term. The sales price was not disclosed.
The “Silberturm” (silver tower) in the Frankfurt’s financial district is considered a landmark property. The 166-meter-high tower consists of 36 floors and was extensively modernised in 2009. It is currently leased to Deutsche Bahn AG.
