Drooms invests in French PropTech company – its second investment within the industry in the last six months and enables document management and data evaluation from a single source.
London, 14th of March 2022 – Drooms, Europe’s leading provider of digital platforms for real estate assets, has invested in the French PropTech firm Bazimo. Founded in 2016 and based in Paris and Montpellier, Bazimo develops innovative financial analysis and forecasting tools for the real estate industry. This is Drooms’ second corporate investment within the last six months, following the purchase of German PropTech firm DocEstate, which recently won the German “Immobilienmanager Award” in the category “Digitisation”.
With this deal, Drooms is continuing to drive digitisation in the real estate industry at an international level and is effectively linking the processes involved in lifecycle asset management. For the first time, Drooms’ centralised and structured asset documentation will be complemented by the evaluation of relevant data through Bazimo’s services. The French company’s software analyses information about an asset using a combination of a complex operating system and analysis modules. These modules range from technical management and tenant management to ancillary cost management.
When implementing ESG guidelines, consolidated and meaningful data is essential for the market. Drooms enables a complete database with its digital platform and Bazimo creates corresponding dashboards for the analysis of, among other things, ESG criteria from the filtered data with its software solution. This provides the user with information on where there is a lack of information and which data ultimately impacts the rating of a building.*
