Drooms exceeds half-year growth forecast and increases revenue and profit by 24%

August 3, 2022

London, 3rd August 2022Drooms, the leading provider of digital platforms for real estate assets in Europe, has exceeded its own growth forecasts for H1 2022, growing by 22 percent year-on-year. International business transactions made a significant contribution to the 24 percent increase in the company’s financial results with revenue and profit growth of 44 percent. In Germany for example, the data room provider supported two of the top three commercial real estate transactions in the first half of the year, according to a list published by the information service Thomas Daily*.

“We have ended the first half of 2022 on a very positive note by exceeding our own forecasts,” comments Alexandre Grellier, CEO and Co-Founder of Drooms. “In the future, we plan further growth in other European countries and want to gradually expand into more markets.“

In the medium term, the focus will also be on the further development of Drooms’ digital platform. To this end, the IT, Product Development and Sales departments, in particular, have been expanded. Overall, the number of employees at Drooms grew by more than 15 percent year-on-year.

“Notwithstanding our 20 years in the market, we remain committed to driving digitalisation in the real estate industry. That is why we are continuously developing our digital solutions. In the long term, we want to become the essential information and collaboration platform for the real estate sector,” explains Grellier. “To achieve this, we are not only growing in terms of personnel, but are also increasingly focusing on application programming interfaces (APIs), artificial intelligence and further automation of the transaction process.”

In the first half of the year, Drooms also established an email inbox feature for its data room solutions. This latest function allows data to be uploaded via email creating yet another digital interface.

*The data is based on a listing by the information service Thomas Daily of the top deals in the first half of 2022 in Germany.
