Drooms takes strategic step to further streamline asset lifecycle management process
Frankfurt, 11th October 2021 – A partnership becomes an investment: Drooms, the leading provider of digital platforms for real estate assets in Europe, is taking a 10 percent stake in DocEstate, a PropTech company based in the Rhine-Main region, Germany. DocEstate digitises public authority requests and simplifies access to information. The contract was signed on 8 October 2021 by Alexandre Grellier, CEO of Drooms, and Christoph Schmidt, CEO of DocEstate.
Drooms and DocEstate have been working together since January 2020. DocEstate’s offering will now be integrated into Drooms’ real estate software, enabling official documents to be digitally requested within its platforms. The strategic move will enable Drooms to offer its customers an all-round service from start to finish.
Alexandre Grellier, CEO and founder of Drooms, says: “DocEstate has a lot of potential and is a company that adds value to the industry. This investment further facilitates digitalisation and connectivity in the real estate sector. For us, the user comes first. For this reason, we have decided to invest even more in our services and enable our users to map another part of the asset lifecycle directly within our platforms.“
Christoph Schmidt, CEO and founder of DocEstate, adds: “We are very pleased that we now have a strong partner by our side. Drooms is the leading provider of secure and innovative data room solutions in Europe. Our close cooperation enables us to reduce the complexity around authority requests and offer a more efficient overall process.“
