London – Drooms has expanded access options for its virtual data room Drooms NXG. Data room projects can now be accessed via a browser as well as from desktop and mobile applications. The browser version is now available without the need for any pre-installed plug-ins so that customers can enjoy unrestricted access whenever they like.
Browser access allows documents to be displayed for initial access to due diligence. In order to ensure efficient processes, questions can be posed to the Q&A process and individual documents can be downloaded depending on the level of authorisation. With the Drooms NXG application, users can access the virtual data room’s full range of features, such as administration rights, real-time document translation within the data room, all Q&A features and Notes and Highlights.
The market demands great technological flexibility and performance
No installation is required to access the Drooms NXG platform via a browser. Individual data room projects are accessible at web.drooms.com. Users who are already registered can enter their access data and view their documents.
Co-founder and CEO Jan Hoffmeister sees the development of browser-based access as a necessary step: “In our market, technology for online due diligence must be highly flexible. We put our customers at the heart of all of our developments, so it was important for us to cover this need for the first, quick browser-based access solution without prior installation.”
Over 10,000 complex transactions such as commercial real estate sales, IPOs and mergers and acquisitions have already been handled securely, transparently and efficiently by Drooms. As the leading European provider of data room solutions, Drooms has assisted in transactions amounting to a total of over EUR 300 billion. More than 25,000 companies around the world use Drooms.
