- Award highlights successful introduction of Drooms NXG and international expansion over the past 12 months
London/Zug/Frankfurt, 8 June 2017 – Drooms, the leading provider of Virtual Data Rooms in Europe, has been named Technical Advisory Firm of the Year by Property Investor Europe (PIE Magazine) in London for the second time. The prestigious award serves to highlight a series of achievements and successes in 2016/2017, including the introduction of Drooms NXG, the next generation of virtual data rooms.
The PIE Europe Property Investor Awards recognise and honour outstanding performance in European commercial real estate. Celebrating individual transactions in the main markets of Europe, the Awards also acknowledge listed and non-listed vehicles, and excellence across the board. The winners were announced at an evening ceremony on Tuesday the 6th of June 2017 at Plaisterers’ Hall, London.
Drooms NXG offers an even faster, automated, user-friendly, heavily secure and intuitive platform and is 50% faster than previous versions of the platform. It uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to speed up manual due diligence processes. Real-time document translation and a self-administered Q&A are also included.
During the past 12 months Drooms has opened a series of regional offices in Europe, including Drooms Cloud España S.L., in Madrid and a new facility in Amsterdam. It has also built its team in Munich and recruited corporate finance and M&A specialists Chris Beckmann and Martin Alamri.
Jan Hoffmeister, Co-Founder and Chairman of Drooms said: “Drooms has gone from strength to strength since we launched the company in 2001. We are delighted to be recognised for the second year running by Property Investor Europe for our work with clients and the innovation that we bring to the real estate market. We were the first to facilitate online due diligence 15 years ago, and since then have worked extremely hard to introduce more and more intelligence into real estate data rooms. This has reached a new level with the launch of Drooms NXG and it’s fantastic that our new platform has played a pivotal part in our success in the PIE awards this year.”
Over 25,000 companies worldwide have now carried out confidential processes using Drooms’ virtual data rooms – the total value of these transactions amounts to over EUR 300 billion.
In 2015 and 2016, Drooms was awarded the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award due to its strong sales growth. Drooms employs over 100 staff from 23 countries and is represented internationally by various locations in the most important European markets. In addition to the company’s presence in London, the SaaS provider operates via offices in Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Madrid and Zug.
