Drooms Assists TRIUVA in Sale of Frankfurt’s Silberturm

February 9, 2015

TRIUVA (formerly IVG Institutional Funds GmbH) has sold one of the most famous skyscrapers in Frankfurt to a consortium led by Korean Samsung SRA Asset Management. Hines acted as the investment manager for Samsung and will handle the asset management in the long term. The sales price was not disclosed.

The “Silberturm” (silver tower) in the Frankfurt’s financial district is considered a landmark property. The 166-meter-high tower consists of 36 floors and was extensively modernised in 2009. It is currently leased to Deutsche Bahn AG.

The Drooms high-security virtual data room was selected to serve as the platform for handling the sale. The software’s intuitive user interface and high-speed, real-time document display feature provided a convenient environment for all parties to complete their tasks quickly and easily. Various other tools and services, such as the integrated Q&A management platform, detailed rights management at the group and document level, and support from a dedicated project manager ensured a smooth process from beginning to end.
